The History of Enviro

Sherwood Industries started producing high efficiency room heating appliances in 1989 under the 'Enviro Fire' brand name. At first the company built wood stoves, which was closely followed by the introduction of a pellet-burning stove. This groundbreaking technology quickly established Sherwood Industries as one of the leading pellet stove manufacturers in North America. After 1993 we quickly gained a reputation as a leading Gas Stove manufacturer by diversifying into the high efficiency, visible flame gas heating products. New designs have followed rapidly ever since.

Today we offer a wide range of choices to our customers, including numerous body types, a full range of BTU input levels, a selection of painted, porcelain and enamel colors, 24kt gold, nickel, brushed nickel, antique copper and onyx trims in many styles and fuel options. Enviro builds tens of thousands of units every year, and now exports around the world.
