The Enviro wood fireplace insert lineup contains two base models, each with two sizes. All models deliver on Sherwood Industries demanding tradion for high safety and quality performance. Each stove easily passes EPA standards for clean burning and low particle emissions, making them eligible for US tax credits. Consult your tax professional for details.

Enviro only uses the strongest materials in construction, up to 390 pounds of heavy duty construction. Thick steel construction and 1/2" thick door hinges immediately stand for this belief. Going further, the secondary air tubes are made of high grade 304 Stainless Steel. These will provide years of enjoyment from an Enviro insert.

The Kodiak series is a steel insert, building off the strong foundations of the similar Kodiak freestanding stoves. The damper is conveniently located on the side where it stays cool to the touch, and easily operated. The firebox is brick lined and sits beneath a ceramic top-baffle. The glass viewing area of both models is a massive 187 square inches. Providing a clear, unobstructed view of the fire. Both models look the same from the front, the 1700 model is deeper, accomidating a 20 inch log size versus the 18" log size of the 1200 model.

The Venice series is new to Enviro. The Venice is a contemporary cast iron design. The 1200 accepts log sizes up to 18 inches while the 1700 accepts log sizes up to 20 inches. Both feature the same brick lined firebox and 6 inch flue. The wooden door handle remains cool to the touch, allowing you to easily add more logs to the fire.
