Jotul Wood Fireplace Inserts

Since 1853, Jøtul has been the world's leading manufacturer of cast iron stoves and fireplaces. They use this experience to produce a tough, long lasting, traditional, yet elegant wood fireplace insert.

Where most people consider warmth to mean heating and cosiness, experience has taught Jøtul there is much more to it than that. In fact, there are six types of warmth: physical, atmospheric, visual, convenient, durable, and sustainable. They combine this philosophy into Warmth in every detail.

All Jøtul stoves are produced in cast iron. Finish colors include a classic matte black paint, Jøtul iron paint, or a Blue/Black Porcelain Enamel.

Common to all models are a full view air washed glass. This provides a clean view of the fire inside. Also, conveniently located air control levers make operating and adjusting the fire inside the box easy and safe. The Jøtul Simplex™ non-catalytic burn system puts more heat into the room without sacrificing fuel load capacity. The glass is air washed to provide a clear view of the flame. The traditional Jøtul signature gothic arch completes the look.

Jøtul models are as follows:

  • Winterport - heating up to 1300 sq. ft.
  • Kennebec - heating up to 1600 sq. ft.
  • Rockland - heating up to 1800 sq. ft.

All Jøtul wood stoves meet strict environmental standards, and may be eligible for US tax credits up to $1500. As always, contact your tax professional for more details.
